As part of establishing alternatives for  methods of agriculture, Casa Pueblo constructed a hydroponics cultivation system.  This sowing method uses water with nutrients instead of soil.  With In this type of cultivation there areis no weed or plague problems, and thus so there is no need to use pesticides or herbicides.
