Solar Energy System – 1999 |
|
Casa Pueblo installed a solar energy system to generate its own power in an adequate and renewable way in 1999. In Tthis way it maintains its environmental principles and values the sun. The system consists of 5 photovoltaic panels, a charge regulator, 8 batteries and a flow converter.
The electric power generated by the solar- exposed photovoltaic panels is transferred and stored for future use in the batteries. The regulator controls the charge flowing to and from the batteries keeping control of not discharging or overcharging them. At night, the panels are not active and the energy saved in the batteries is available to be used. This initiative allows Casa Pueblo to provide produce its own energy.
